The Story Behind John Steinbeck's of Mice And Men (History in Literature: the Story Behind) by Brian WilliamsReview: Although, this is a small work, with beautiful illustrations, it is chock full of information. I have never read a book that was so informative historically and able to connect so accurately to a work of literature's settings and characters. I wish all my students could own this book when we read Of Mice and Men.
