Join the Academy of American Poets, Back Forty, and acclaimed downtown poet Bob Holman for a National Poetry Month celebration in the East Village featuring poetry-inspired cocktails. Mixologists from renowned New York City establishments (e.g. Ward III, Clover Club, The Beagle, Back Forty, and Back Forty West) will serve original cocktails inspired by their favorite poems, while host Bob Holman recites each poem, cocktail in hand. Back Forty chef Michael Laarhoven will also prepare special hors d'oeuvres to complement the libations.
